Cats2D installation
Cats2D is a text-based console application that runs in a Unix terminal window. Cats2D compiles under gcc or other C/C++ compiler, requiring only the Metis partitioning library and CBLAS. Distribution is by tarball.
Installation requires editing a makefile to set destinations for writing libraries and executables, then running the makefile. If that seems too complicated, take a look at this.
Cats2D graphics are written in high-resolution EPS format, which can be viewed in Preview and many other document viewers.
Cats2D line plot data is written to formatted text files ready for import to your favorite graphing software.
